GOAL $10 Million |

I could never have attended Hendrix without the support of a need-based scholarship funded by a generous friend of the college. My experience here made a profound difference in my life. Now, I can pass this on to future Hendrix students through the scholarship fund my husband and I were privileged to endow.
Paula Crabtree Bookout '62 and her husband, Simon Bookout '64, established the Rev. Roger Keith Beal '77 Memorial Endowed Scholarship at Hendrix

Hendrix values bright minds. To ensure that gifted students from diverse backgrounds, including low- and middle-income families, have the chance to study at Hendrix, The Hendrix Campaign will endow an array of merit- and need-based scholarships.
Gifts to establish or add to scholarships for students from middle income families will help meet our $6 million challenge goal from the Robert and Ruby Charitable Trust of Wichita Falls, Texas, and endow the Priddy scholarship program.
One innovation will be the Odyssey Honors and Distinction Awards, grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per year, awarded to freshmen for experiences emphasized by our Odyssey program, such as service to others, leadership, and creative expression.
The College's long-history of providing scholarship assistance to those who need it has received national recognition. Most recently, Hendrix was named the nation's #4 "best value" by the Princeton Review in America's Best Value Colleges.
With your help, Hendrix can continue ensuring that financial circumstances are not a barrier for students who would benefit from an engaged liberal arts education.
