If you don’t think Millsaps students have access to an unusual variety of internships close to campus, then you don’t know Jackson! As the state capital of Mississippi, it’s the center of government, political, social and legal activities and all the associated agencies, organizations and businesses. Not to mention hospitals, corporations, museums, and cultural resources. Our campus is located within the city limits of this mid-size metropolis, so many internship sites are just blocks away.

You can do an internship in any field. A couple recent examples include:

• Jackson Bandit's hockey team
• Associated Press
• Institute of Southern Jewish Life
• MS Dept of Environmental Quality
• MS Dept of Archives and History
